About The Author
Landi Prendi
Chef Landi Prendi was born in Divjaka in 1972 during the communist regime in Albania. Following Communism’s collapse, he immigrated to Italy and lived there for ten years. Since 2001, North America has been his second home. In this place, he says, “My dreams have become a reality.”
He has lived and worked as a chef in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Toronto, Canada. Highly trained and experienced in Italy in the culinary industry, Chef Landi has worked in the USA in some of the finest dining. Along the way, he completed coursework in Fashion technology at More College of Art & Design. His years in the culinary and fashion world combined with his passion for poetry to produce two books about food and wine in native Albania.
Dancing with Nature is his first book to be released in the United States.
Highly trained and specializing in Italian cuisine, after all this hard work with strong experience, chef Landi will continue his journey of cooking, teaching and making people happy for many years to come. Chef Landi is the founder of Pastaplusbylandi company based in Philadelphia.
